Our Ethics - we always demonstrate a strong ethical posture, we are honest in all our dealings, ensure value is delivered to the client and will advise the client to stop or change an engagement even if we would potentially lose revenue. This is encompassed in our ‘code of conduct’.

Value Oriented - our consultants have real world experience and have 'sat on your side of the fence'. We know how important getting value is both for people we engage with and their organisations. If we do better, you look better. Our philosophy is to support you in what you are trying to achieve, and to try to exceed your expectations…not the conventional under promise and over deliver, but promise correctly and exceed that promise.

Efficient Engagement – with every new client, and indeed sometimes every new engagement, there is a period of learning; about the client, the engagement, what he does today, and what he wants to achieve tomorrow. We pride ourselves in having the ability to sensitively interview and challenge the client to create a high level understanding in a very short time. Our engagement methodology encourages a client to spend some time with us during the first assignment to fully define, scope and formalise his needs. Working with us like this will ensure that subsequent assignments are the right ones, achieved in co-operation with the client’s own efforts, and which have the most likelihood of delivering added value – even exceeding the clients’ expectation.

We pride ourselves on our active listening, analysis, and solution generating skills being used “on the fly”, reducing the effort required from the clients staff to no more than is strictly necessary.

Optimal solution – we put a lot of effort into ensuring our solutions are correct, neither under specified nor over engineered. Occasionally during an engagement new information will come to light or new requirements emerge, or even new technologies mature which would change the nature of the solution or even negate it. We are not afraid to tell the client, work through the implications and then actively work to protect their investment, with as much reuse as possible. We believe this to be preferable to completing an engagement knowing the wrong or less appropriate solution has been deployed. In the end it is up to the client whether to proceed or not!

Tailored Delivery – we have a wealth of prior experience in designing, developing and deploying solutions and reusing our intellectual capital to the benefit of our clients. Although we adopt industry standard approaches as appropriate, we do not believe in ‘blind’ totally template based solutions, as although these may be perceived as beneficial in the short term, they may well fail to extract an individual organisation’s requirements adequately. We do however, believe in reuse of models and approaches which with our methodology have the capability of being individually re-engineered effectively.

Whole Lifecycle Support – we value our clients; we want them to engage with us again and again, so we strenuously avoid generating solutions which might lead to problems once the engagement concludes. If this requires a client to devote more time to building his relationship with a new supplier then we will strongly advocate this. All our senior consultants have run real life infrastructures and organisations and know the pain that can be there when the consultants depart. We do not want this to happen to you!
