His knowledge of IT and business has been developed over 25 years through senior positions at First Data International (debit and credit card processing in the finance sector), Sainsbury's, Accenture and GlaxoSmithKline and latterly his skills have been honed at Jardine Lloyd Thompson (Insurance Brokers), Renesas Technology (Hitachi/Mitsubishi joint venture), Christian Salvesen, Cheshire County Council and Scottish & Newcastle.
Andrew's extensive background includes delivering solutions in all IT disciplines, including Business and IT transformation - outsourcing to India and third parties; Consultancy; Senior Management; Programme and Project Management; Application Development and Support; Technical and Operational Management. He has received industry recognised awards for his work in eCommerce and has successfully negotiated very high value contracts.
His management experience covers leading large programmes e.g. 400 staff, at multiple locations, including off-shore; managing national and international clients; budget control of £25m; leading major transformation programmes e.g. £40m re-engineering programme.
His key strengths are building effective working relationships with business leaders, external clients and staff to deliver solutions and services in rapidly changing environments.
