Whether the assignment is large or small, we adopt a structured approach to enable us to understand the issues clearly and quickly. By talking with people in the IT department and in the wider business, we are able to recognise patterns and predict certain behaviours. We know the questions to ask and establish relationships with IT staff at all levels; this in turn makes them more open with us, they trust us, we have credibility, we are on their wavelength. 
In our small, highly collaborative team, insights happen more quickly than in large consultancies. Because we are independent of any vendor, we have no potted solutions, no vested interest in selling specific products. In the investigate, analyse and assess stages, we listen carefully to what clients tell us, but we don’t take everything they say at face value – we challenge them in order to address both the symptoms and the root causes.
The solution design is based on the information we have gathered and we use our expertise to evaluate, interpret and recommend appropriate actions that address real business needs. Our recommendations are measured by how useful they are to the client – if the client doesn’t understand or can’t implement them, then we’ve failed to deliver value.
We are passionate about what we do, which means going beyond just doing an efficient job for the client.
